 We had a really fun time with the Fife's in Laguna. Normally more family would have come, but circumstances and distance didn't make that possible. We did get to see Jake and Jacob and Lexi one day.

 Jake rented a house in Temecula because Jacob had some friends in Oceanside he wanted to visit. We took the kids and went out there to see them one day. Lexi had a couple of friends with her. It was good to see them!

 We went to Texas for Jackson's baptism and enjoyed hanging out with the family for a few days. I'm wearing the "Granny of the Wild Things" shirt that Abby gave me for Mother's Day.

 It was special to be with Jackson on his baptism day.

 We had the Ellsworth's over for Father's Day. This was the first time they could come since Christmas. Luke was in he hospital, and then some of us were sick on Easter, and I was sick on Mother's Day. Those are all days they would normally be with us, so it was really good to finally get together. Luke has put on weight and is now sturdy and healthy!

 I got to go on a very fun hike with some good friends to the Hollywood sign. Fortunately, it was a cool and overcast day, which made for a perfect hike.

 We went all the way up behind the sign, where there was a great view.
