Soon after he came home, Jackson had to go to the hospital for two days because of jaundice. He stayed under the lights with an IV in his leg and blood sample pokes all over his other foot. Amazingly, he was very peaceful and relaxed and looked like he was enjoying himself despite all that.
The only time he cried was when Jesse and Sarita came to visit! He's pretty calm in this picture though. We had a little birthday party for Joey in the hospital Sunday.
Joey tried to take all the turns he could when it was time to hold and feed the little guy.

We had a couple of ducks hanging out in our front yard this morning! I thought they were going to walk back to the park, but they took off flying when someone walked by on the sidewalk.
I wanted the chickens to meet them, but they were busy scratching around in the back yard.
He's just a tired little boy!
