We spent the first part of Father's Day weekend at Newport for a little getaway. We stayed at the Radisson, thanks to Priceline!

We took Kelsey and SKylee with us to Girls' Camp for Stake Night so they got to see what it's like. The girls and Hunter spent the night the night before, but we dropped Hunter off on our way up. The camp is in the mountains just above Yucaipa.

The kids like to go to the Bass Pro Shop and look around and ride the elevators up and down when they come to visit!

Katy's family came over Sunday afternoon for a little celebration and barbecue. Lilly liked the chickens, but was still a little hesitant.

Skylee and Kelsey have become very creative with sculpey clay. Sarita introduced them to this medium last summer and they love it.

These are all Star Wars characters that Skylee made.

Skylee saw a picture of the Goose Girl scene Sarita made and made her own goose. Kelsey made the penguin like one Sarita made too. They make everything miniature so the clay lasts longer!

Kelsey is really growing up! Lilly thinks she's her second mom!

Happy belated Father's Day! I'm glad you were able to get away for a nice weekend. I'm impressed with the Sculpey skills! I was looking at the pictures and saw the penguin and thought for a second it was my penguin. That's funny that Skylee likes Star Wars so much.
Happy Father's Day! Looks like you had a lot of fun.
