Stella Marie Rich

 I got to spend two weeks with Jesse and Sarita and Stella beginning just a few days after she was born. I got to hold and snuggle her and watch her parents do the same. I got to see her go from this size to a pound and a half bigger in just two weeks. She's a sweet and beautiful baby, and her mom and dad are very sweet with her.

Swaddling seems to comfort her and help her sleep better.

 He's a proud dad!

 Sarita wanted to go to an event for some friends in RI that she had helped plan when Stella was just five days old, so I went with her. She looks pretty good!

 This is how her hair looks right after being washed.

 I went on walks in the mornings on a beautiful trail. The fall colors are very pretty this time of year. This was in East Rock Park. It's pretty close to where they live.

 Sarita did a photo shoot when Stella was 8 days old. She made the flower!

The house where Jesse and Sarita live on the second floor- 18 Avon St.

 They have their own washer and dryer in the basement, but it's kind of creepy down there!

 We went to Guilford, which is only about 20 minutes away, to get a pumpkin. We thought there would be apples to pick too, but we were too late in the season. Guilford is the town some of our ancestors settled in the 1600's- Samuel Hopson and family.

 I wanted to look at the ocean in Guilford, so Jesse drove us over there.

Stella wore a cute little dress for her first time at church.

 She's becoming more alert every day.

 Stella really didn't mind the doctor looking her over at her check-up.

 The fall colors got even brighter during m second week there.
