Family

 We enjoyed a get together with Jesse and Sarita and Katy's families at a park in Yucaipa.

 We went to AZ for Evan's birthday and ordination to the Aaronic Priesthood. Stella went with us in case little Sophie came while we were gone. Stella loves Evan, Audra, and Bella, and they are all very sweet to her, so she had a great time!

 We stopped at the Disney store, and Stella was in stuffed character heaven.

 When we stopped by to see the Gilbert Temple, Evan carried Stella! 

 Stella slept just fine on a makeshift bed in Evan's room, where we slept. I let her use one of my satin pillow cases.

 Saying goodbye to Evan, carrying the Cinderella doll the girls gave Stella. She insisted on calling her Tiana though.

 It was hot here, so Jesse and Stella enjoyed our pool.

 Charles had a conference in Dana Point, so I got to go along.

 Sophie made her appearance on Sunday, September 18th at Loma Linda Hospital.

 Katy, Kelsey, Skylee, and Lilly visited Sarita, Jesse, and Sophie in the hospital while we were there. They love babies!

 Stella wasn't quite sure she liked Sophie at first.

 Abby spent conference weekend with Carly while Rich and Evan went to Salt Lake and Kevin was on a hike with his brother in law.

 We helped Jesse and Sarita move up to Lafayette, and Jesse started his new job October 3. They had their stuff that was stored at U-Haul in CT to a facility in Oakland, where they picked it up and unloaded at their new apartment. Jesse and Dad put together some furniture from IKEA, which was time-consuming, but they did it!

 There's a really nice trail near their home where Stella and I went for some walks. She loves nature and wildlife and would rather pick up pine cones, rocks, sticks, etc. than do just about anything else! She went in the stroller, of course, but we took breaks where she could play.

 We celebrated Sarita's birthday Oct. 4.

 Carly and Bella made a trip out to visit for a few days and see the baby. I got to see them for a couple of days before heading for home.

 Stella loves stuffed animals, and was especially pleased to be reunited with he Bunny.

 We took the kids to a place called Fairyland, which is very close to Jesse's work. It was a fun place. but pretty warm that day!

 There's a pool and spa at the apartment, so they Carly and Bella went in with Jesse and Stella. When we were at Fairyland, I felt dumb calling for Stella and Bella! While there, we also heard mom's talking to their Stellas and Sophies.

 This was at the Oakland Zoo, where we went Saturday morning before I flew home from the Oakland airport.

 Abby changed her hair color!
