Europe Trip

Here's the view from our hotel window the first night in Amsterdam. We stayed in a quaint, historic hotel on Rembrandt Square. The only problem was that because of its historic status, they weren't allowed to install elevators and we were on the third floor. It was kind of far to lug all the suitcases, especially when Abby joined us the next day with all of her stuff!
It was pretty exciting to meet Abby at the airport and meet the people who have been her surrogate parents for a year and a half. The Brubakers have been very good friends to her and we got to thank them in person.
There were bikes everywhere! This is a view from the canal, where we went on a boat tour.
We got to go with Abby and the sister missionaries to teach a lesson to Stacey and Barbara. She had been working with these girls before and wanted us to meet them. Their parents were recently baptized, but they're still working on getting testimonies themselves.

It is really neat that you got to meet so many of the people who Abby got to know and love on her mission.
