More Europe

Here's Abby standing by the Joan of Arc statue in Caen, France. Abby did a project about Joan of Arc in 7th grade and has been a big fan for years.
Aachen, Germany. This man was so sweet, giving us red roses, until we didn't want to pay for them and he took them back!
This is an old German bunker on one of the Normandy beaches. There are a lot of them still there. Abby walked through tot he other side.
 Another Normandy Beach.
This is part of a weird sculpture at the Caen Castle museum in Caen. There were nine of these different creatures on poles, but I liked the chicken with the human face the best.
Abby with another sculpture at the same castle.
This is looking through from the castle wall from a place where they shot arrows or cannon balls through. Compared to The Tower of London, this wasn't a real impressive castle, but we still liked it. There weren't many other tourists there because it was not as well-known.
