We finally got our family room remodeled. We had the paneling removed from the walls, retexturing, painting, new sliding door, and a wonderful wood-look tile floor.
We moved the piano to the other side of the room, after 33 years in the same spot! Now the room has more comfortable seating.
Charles went shooting with the Ellsworth men and Rich and Evan.
I got to go to church with our girls!
And Charles went with us too.
Grandpa with the Fife children.
Kevin and Abby.
Since we were getting together on Sunday, Katy and Paul wanted to bless Jovie at our house. That worked out well, and we invited Paul's mom, Diane, and her husband, Neil to join us.
Two grandmas
Abby and Kevin practicing.
Everyone wanted a turn with this sweet baby.
We celebrated Abby's birthday too, since it was just a few days away.
Sarita sent us pictures of her and Stella, who also spent Memorial Day at the beach.
We went to the beach in Dana Point, where the owners where Kevin works gave them a week in their condo. The girls and I made a rock cow.
Looks like the water was cold!
Evan stayed the rest of the week with us, and flew home alone the following Saturday. He enjoyed shopping at the new DI in Fontana with me.
Here's the Laguna picture we based our family room color scheme around.
Abby and Kevin standing in almost the same spot.
Abby wearing the new skirt and necklace we got for her birthday.
Evan at the airport, all set to fly home unaccompanied.
Stella crawling in the grass with her cute little top knot.
Second from left is Michelle Lima, who I spent some time helping get ready for her mission. She left a few days after I left for CT.
